Speaking on the occasion, MPA Khalid Saeed said Bashir Nizami had invaluable services for the Pakistan movement. He said the city administration had renamed the chowk to pay recognise his services. He appreciated the decision of the city government to rename city landmarks. He said such efforts would keep the memory of Pakistan’s rich heritage alive.
