Supporting the troops: Retired officers appreciate efforts of army

A delegation of retired army officers from Rawalpindi and Peshawar expressed their solidarity with the security forces. Led by Lieutenant General (retd) Mumtaz Gul, the retired army personnel were visiting the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar. They appreciated the steps taken by the Pakistan Army to help families displaced from North Waziristan because of an ongoing military operation against the Taliban. Lieutenant General Mumtaz Gul (retd) gave a cheque of Rs2.5 million to the corps commander for the internally displaced persons.
