Child abuse: Court refuses bail to rape suspect

The boy’s mother accused Shafique of abducting the boy when he was going to a tailor’s shop and later abusing him.

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge dismissed the bail application of a man accused of abusing a fifth class student. Muhammad Shafique claimed in his petition that he had been falsely implicated in the case because the boy’s family wanted to blackmail him. The boy’s mother accused Shafique of abducting the boy when he was going to a tailor’s shop and later abusing him. She registered an FIR against him in Manga Mandi police.
