Residents of Islamabad have lived up to their reputation of being gracious hosts. They reached out to the marchers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and opened their hearts and homes to them.
In an act of generosity, local residents of Aabpara, Khayaban-e- Suherwardy facilitated the protesters of both parties, allowing them to use washrooms and laundry facilities in their homes.
Businesses in Aabpara and adjacent markets have been badly affected due to the five-day sit-in.
Nevertheless, local hotels, bakeries, vendors and other food outlets enjoyed good business during the marches owing to a massive gathering of protestors.
According to sources, the shops, banks and business in Aabpara market are likely to open on Tuesday for routine business as the protestors make their way into the Red Zone. The protesting parties will stage a sit-in in front of Parliament until their demands are met.

The middle class Islamabadis are indeed hospitable and lovely people.
Contrary to this, the bourgeois in their villas and elite farm houses are moaning on FB and Twitter on how their pampered life is being affected by these inconvenient marches by Pakistanis.
Whatever political differences ............. this is really humanitarian..... Well done Islamabad.
Yesss............our people are very generous.
