Pakistan stroll to last-eight round

Team seeking fifth title at the World Junior Squash Championship.

KARACHI: Pakistan cruised into the World Junior Squash Championship quarter-finals after winning all their group matches in the event being played in Windhoek, Namibia.

The team was placed in Group B alongside hosts Namibia, Germany and Israel where they posted an effortless 3-0 scoreline against each opponents.

Throughout the three matches, Tayyab Aslam, Ali Bokhari and Asim Khan played for Pakistan while Israr Ahmed failed to get a chance.

All the three players did not drop a single frame.

Pakistan are seeking their fifth world junior team title. The previous two editions saw the national team being beaten by Egypt in the finals of 2010 and 2012.
