The Indian army allegedly violated the border in Sialkot, Charwah and Haryal sector. On retaliation by Rangers personnel, the firing from the Indian side came to a halt.
There have been at least 55 incidents of ceasefire violation by Indian troops since July this year.
Just one week ago, on August 11, unprovoked firing by Indian soldiers in Charwah sector near the Sialkot working boundary killed a woman and injured two others.
Rangers sources had said that a mosque was also damaged in the incident.
Pakistan had summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner to the Foreign Office and lodged a protest over the incident.

Unable to understand the real issues, in India hordes of newspaper report pakistan violated ceasefire and started firing into Indian region while in Pakistan newspaper reports India started firing into Pakistan. Which version is correct? Why there should be firing at first place? Can't issues be settled by talks?

Moody is playing its part now to save N.S . Sorry but PTI is more intelligent and they have enough. These LOC voilations will now be used as an excuse by N.S and its Indian Co. To divert prople attention towards issue of national integrity. But national integrity is already at stake.
Pakistan should respond aggresively and close this chapter once and all.

JAMMU: In a major ceasefire violation that lasted throughout the night, Pakistani troops resorted to heavy mortar shelling and fired with automatic weapons at 20 border out posts and civilian areas along the international border in Jammu sector, leaving a villager injured.
"Pakistan Rangers armed with heavy weaponry resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing of automatic weapons on 15 to 20 border out posts (BoPs) in Arnia and R S Pura sub-sectors in Jammu district around 2130 hours last night", a BSF officer said here today.
any idea which side is interested in keeping the Kashmir issue alive and burning and who is the Beneficiary and who is the loser ?
Pak army and Pak government is doing this deliberately just to divert attention of the people of Pakistan from Imran Khan's rally. People of Pakistan should understand this logic.

It is the problem with the pakistani army, they are trying to provoke the Indian side by firing intermittently.

The soldiers in the picture are not Pakistani rangers, rather Indian BSF. Please get your facts straight before posting.

Enough of this drama please. The former Chief of Air Staff of Pakistan Mr.Asghar Khan has made it very plain that Pakistan resorts to firing across the LoC just to keep the Kashmir Issue alive in the minds of the people and the international community. As an Indian, I'll say this: you can keep this up for 1000 years and we'll not shift from our stand on Kashmir incl PoK.
