Crackdown: Ghalib Market police nab 15 criminals

The DIG said that police had also arrested 13 drug peddlers and seized drugs from their possession.

Ghalib Market police announced on Sunday they had arrested 15 suspects involved in robberies and drug peddling. Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf told reporters that two of the arrested suspects had confessed to being involved in 67 robberies in the city. “The suspects, Ilyas and Kali, are members of a robber gang. They have confessed to robbing houses in Gulberg, Ghalib Market, Kahna and Mozang,” Ashraf said. He said that looted mobile phones, cash and motorbikes had been seized from the two suspected robbers. The DIG said that police had also arrested 13 drug peddlers and seized drugs from their possession.
