An efficient and independent justice system not only contributes to trust and stability but also ensures the rule of law in the country.
This was stated by Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah during a certificate-awarding ceremony at the conclusion of a one-week training course for the superintendents of sessions courts of the country at the Federal Judicial Academy on Saturday.
Speaking as the chief guest, Justice Minallah said “Access to an effective justice system is a fundamental human right enshrined in our Constitution and sessions court superintendents play a crucial role in the administration of justice.”
Lauding the training course and its content, he said “Training is an important element to improve quality and effectiveness. The course content is very productive and will definitely increase the quality and effectiveness of justice in the district judiciary.”
Presenting an overview of the course, the academy’s director general Dr Faqir Hussain said the course was designed to provide participants a comprehensive understanding of conventional and unconventional subjects so they can play an efficient role in the dispensation of justice.
