Law Minister Rana Mashhood said on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had been disappointed at the failure of the Azadi March.
He said the Gujranwala incident was tragic and urged the PTI leaders to avoid inappropriate language. The minister said PTI activists had pelted stones at the office of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and had provoked its workers. Mashhood said the Azadi March lacked popular support. He said the government had allowed the PTI to march to Islamabad despite a Lahore High Court ruling that the demands were unconstitutional. He said the PTI was spoiling for a confrontation with the government after the failure of the march. Mashhood said PAT chief Tahirul Qadri was lying about the Model Town violence. He said Qadri was seeking political mileage from dead bodies. He said the government had allowed PAT to undertake the march after it had assured them that the march would be peaceful.

@Siraj Ahmed: You are right, IK is being humiliated. For IK to ask for civil disobedient is very immature if he wants to be next PM. This kind of behaviour is not appropriate for a PM candidate.
The reason this individual still has the face to come in public, should tell a lot about PMLN.
Imran Khan you are a headache you have failed everyone and yourself too so please go home, women and children kids need food and we have work to do. Please tell your goons to leave the city and let us resume our business, there are starnge and dangerous people outside homes and shops.
Only in Pakistan can a corrupt bribe taker issue such statements in an emboldened almost proud and entitled manner.SHAME.more people criticise imrams honestly but this is acceptable .
This coming from a person who has been caught on film asking for bribes for himself and the CM Punjab. I ask the PMLN lovers; would you still trust him and your CM and ultimately the PM? CAUGHT ON FILM!!!
One important lesson from the failure of PTI's march : only way to improve the democratic system is to use parliament, not roads.
By all accounts the march has failed misrebly. Time has come for IK to spare us the Humiliation. Whoever is advising IK should be thrown out of PTI. Waste of time, nothing is going to change.
First this man said the march has 2,000 participants, then Parvez Rasheed said there are hardly 7,000 participants, yesterday night Talal Chaudry estimated it no more than 50,000, today morning Rana Sanaullah said that holding a 'big rally' doesn't make you PM. Waiting for the next estimate!!
