Fatal firing: Land dispute claims four lives

Ambushed by their rivals in the Kahuta area

At least four people were killed after they were ambushed by their rivals in the Kahuta area.


Pehelwan Khan, a resident of union council Narh, lodged a case with the police that he had a dispute with Mulazim Hussain over a piece of land. Khan said that he was going to attend a local jirga with his sons and others when they were allegedly ambushed by Hussain and his sons.


Talib, Jabbar, Ghulam Jilani and Ghulam Rasul died on the spot, while Nazakat, Safdar, Taimur and Tanvir Bibi sustained bullets wounds. The dead and injured were shifted the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.


The police registered a case against the alleged assailants and raids were under way to arrest them.
