Family dispute: Constable kills his parents and son

KOHAT: A police constable allegedly killed his parents and son in Miangan Colony, Kohat on Wednesday. A resident of Navay Kalay, Abid Masood, told officials of Muhammad Riaz Shaheed police station that he was asleep at home at around 5:30am when his brother Sadiq Zaman phoned Masood to say that he had killed his father Umer Zaman, mother Nighat Yasmin and 4-year-old son, Samir Rehman. Masood said that when he reached the house of his brother at Miangan Colony he found his parents and nephew dead. The complainant pointed out that the accused had divorced his wife a few months ago and after that he frequently argued with his parents. Police registered Masood’s complaint and started searching for the accused who is a police constable.
