A two-member bench of the high court issued the order today.
Butt was caught smashing cars during the clashes between Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers and the police outside the Minhajul Quran International Secretariat on June 17.
He smashed windscreens and windows of private vehicles with his club, while police officials looked on and the vandalism continued unabated.
On August 5, a division bench of the LHC had sought investigation record from police on a bail application by Butt.
His counsel had submitted that he was mentally unfit and that police had wrongfully implicated him in the case.
Butt's lawyer had said that Butt had vandalised the vehicles in anger after he was attacked by some people, adding that he was innocent and should be granted bail.

The judge who granted him bail is 'mentally unfit'.
Gullu Butt released on bail. His defence was that he is 'mentally unfit'. We are now waiting for evidence that the judge who released him is 'mentally fit'.
This decision of the court has really annoyed us. Now if we head to the court on a destructive rampage it won't really be our fault, would it? Please :)
We must appreciate that Courts are required to work on the basis of the laws they are dealing with. They are not to decide disputes on public sentiments. Also all offences are not non-bailable. If Gullu Butt has committed a crime that is bailable and he is yet to be convicted by the Court (where the matter is currently underway), why should he not be allowed bail - though I didn't like his release on bail either.
Let the lawyers do the magic - and if they do, curse them!
The same high court judges will be part of the judicial commision that NS spoke off in his speech.... Wasn't IK right all the time ? This judiciary is corrupt....If we dont stand with IK now, maybe we will never have an opportunity again in our lives.

My question to lawyer of Respected Gullu Butt's lawyer is, Out of mental unfitness how many times did he hit his head against a wall? If he did not he is mentally fit and sensible enough that he understands what action will harm him and what not. As he did not do anything that may harm him I consider him fit and his actions punishable under the law.
I can only pray for his lawyer that may Allah give him courage to support the truth and may Allah guide him towards right path. For me the lawyer is just running after money. I wish someday some Gullu Butt brings him a lesson to learn.

No, the judiciary is more friendly and favours the criminal or dance to the tune of NS. If Mr. Butt is mental then why he is not sent to mental hospital. The judges has no fear of Allah swt. that he will be accountable one day.
With all the due respect to the court, I have following proposal. Both Mr Qadri and Gullu Butt must be held in the same cell in the jail for next thirty yrs or who so ever dies first. Then the second one can be released on bail. This way justice will be served both for revolution and for those people's whose cars were damaged. For ET, please forward my comment to the judge. Are our judges blind? Did they not see the hours' long footage of the destruction brought by this man? Even if there was no complainant, judges should not have granted bail to this monster.

Hats off to the Punjab Police which was in full action, under the great command of Mr Butt, on the day when several innocent Pakistani citizens were laughtered on the streets. No surprise at all in as to who did the police identified as their leader that day - ' Gullu Butt ( read 'mentally unfit' )!!.
PMLN will never correct Police, Judiciary, NAB, Anti Corruption, proper tax system etc... Because if these will be corrected then there will no place for Guluism..

It is a clear conspiracy to de-rail democracy by the anti-democratic forces by trying to falsely implicate Gullu Butt. The person in the video was infact his evil twin who was never seen prior to this incident.
