Patriotic spirit: Independence Day seminar at VU

LAHORE: A seminar was held to mark the Independence Day at the Virtual University’s Lawrence Road campus on Monday. Taseer Mustafa, a journalist, said that all sections of society had been united during the Pakistan Movement. “Teachers have to play their role in developing a sense of national unity among the youth,” he said.Anwar Qamar, a journalist, and Amjad Abbas Magsi, a lecturer at Punjab University’s Pakistan Study Centre, said that Pakistani youth had great potential and were capable of achieving great milestones. They said it was the responsibility of teachers to instill the spirit of patriotism among the youth.
