5 killed in van accident in Jhang

The injured are being transferred to Jhang district headquarters hospital while some are being treated on the spot

JHANG: A passenger van in Jhang overturned due to a flat tyre, killing five people and injuring several others, Express News reported.

Some of the injured have been transferred to Jhang district headquarters hospital, while others are being treated on the spot by rescue teams.

Car accidents are not uncommon in the country. On August 10, one man was killed and seven were injured -- of which two were in critical condition -- in a traffic accident on the Indus Highway in Dera Ghazi Khan.
