Storming a factory: Police arrest 14 over armed assault

The spokesperson said the men were booked and the factory was sealed.

The police on Sunday arrested 14 people for storming a factory and recovered weapons from them.


Islamabad Police spokesperson told The Express Tribune that Tashfain Qayyum was a partner in a factory, Western Services Private Limited, in Sector I-10/3 along with Ifitkhar Ahmad, Kifayatullah Khattak and Muhammad Fawad. Qayyum was separated from the partnership recently. On Sunday, in a bid to take control of the factory, Qayyum stormed the premises along with 13 armed men. Fawad informed police about the attack. A team reached the site and arrested Qayyum and his accomplices, seizing weapons and dozens of rounds from them. The spokesperson said the men were booked and the factory was sealed.
