Dejected: Two attempt suicide

DASKA: Police said two people had attempted suicide in Daska on Saturday.

Mohsin*, a resident of Daska, had been unemployed and depressed. He attempted suicide by swallowing poison on Saturday. He was taken to Gujranwala Civil Hospital.

Separately, Aisha*, a resident of Mandi Goraya, swallowed poison after an argument in the family. She was taken to Gujranwala Civil Hospital.

Doctors said both patients were in critical condition.

*Names have been changed to protect identity.
