Grenade Attack: Four children critically injured

Sher Muhammad told police he had no enemies. A case was filed against unidentified culprits.

NOWSHERA: Four children were injured when unidentified assailants lobbed a hand grenade at a house in the jurisdiction of Azakhel police station on Friday. A police official said the men targeted the house of Sher Muhammad, a resident of Khisary village. He said four children identified as Nadeem, 8, Yousaf 12, Samiullah, 14, and Junaid, 17, were critically injured. The victims were initially taken to the District Headquarters Hospital, but ultimately shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. Sher Muhammad told police he had no enemies. A case was filed against unidentified culprits.
