A notification in this regard has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
Section 144 bans a gathering of more than four people at one place for rallies and protests and also bans carrying weapons.
Last night, it was reported that the federal capital would be sealed off by August 12, and 900 containers were being placed around the city.
The imposition of the section comes just days before the PTI's 'azadi' march is scheduled for August 14 in Islamabad, which, the party claims, has 'unnerved' Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's government.

The issues cannot be resolved on roads. Imran Khan is badly failed in KPK, he has done nothing good in KPK. He knows very well that no one is going to give him votes next time on the basis of his poor performance. State should stop people from taking law in their hand and should stop people gathering in Islamabad.

TUQ was coolly handled by Zardari because TUQ was launched by Zardari last year to counter PML-N in Punjab and to have the elections delayed so that the sitting parliament at that time can re-elect Zardari for another 5 year term. PML-N understood the game and very "Coolly" let TUQ proceed to Islamabad and did not give in to the provocation of TUQ.

In the above picture 4 policemen out of 8 are guarding the parliament with sticks and all of them have no bullet proof vests and any type of communication equipment. It shows us a lot about Operation preparedness and professionalism of our Armed Forces against any type of threat.
