UET extends entry test registration date

Students will now be able to submit application forms until August 11.

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) has extended until August 11 the last date for the submission of application forms for its Combined Entry Test for admission to bachelor’s programmes.


Earlier, the UET administration had announced August 8 as the last date for the submission of applications.

The test scores will be used to determine merit for admission to the bachelor of science in engineering and technology programmes at the engineering universities in the province.

According to the revised schedule, the students will be able to submit application forms until 2:30pm on August 11.

The test, which is scheduled to be held on August 24, will be held simultaneously at the UET main campus; Kala Shah Kaku Campus; the Lahore Garrison University’s main campus; the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila; the International Islamic University, Islamabad; the College of Engineering and Technology, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan; the NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Khanewal Road; the Multan College of Engineering; the Islamia University of Bahawalpur; the Government College of Technology, Rahim Yar Khan; the NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertiliser Research, Faisalabad; the University of Gujrat; the Government College of Technology; and the Dr AQ Khan Institute of Technology, Mianwali.

The application forms for the entry test have been available from July 14 on the university’s website.

The fee for the entry test is Rs400. Students can access guidelines for the test on the university’s website.

According to the UET, the answer key will be uploaded on its website at midnight on August 24. The result will be declared on August 31.
