In a statement, the PCSW said the incident, which left three women dead and eight people injured, was part of a recent increase in cases of violence against women and marginalised communities. The commission said the incident pointed towards disregard for law whereby some people believed they could get away with attacking citizens and seizing property without facing consequences.
