Gunned down: PML-N leader shot in Khuzdar

QUETTA: A local leader of PML-N was shot dead in the troubled Khuzdar district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Abdul Khaliq, president of Katan Tajabad Unit in Khuzdar.  “Armed men barged into the house of Khaliq and opened fire at him, killing him instantly,” a police official said. According to PML-N Khuzdar chapter, Abdul Khaliq was brought to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Khuzdar where he was pronounced dead.  “The government has failed to protect the political leaders in Khuzdar. League politicians are being targeted,” Aziz Umrani, general secretary PML-N Khuzdar, said.
