President of the Vintage and Classic Car Club (VCCC) of Pakistan Mohsin Ikram told the media that the rally of antique and old cars will end in Islamabad on November 11.
The purpose of the drive, according to Ikram, is to send out a message of peace, as well as spread the notion internationally that Pakistan is not a terrorist country but one that has lots of diverse and positive hobbies.
VCCCP was formed in 1986 by Ikram and Jim Agha to cater to those who shared their passion of collecting, restoring and driving vintage and classic cars.
The main objective of the club is “to help save and preserve motoring heritage in Pakistan and to be known as the club which helps various charitable organisations in 'fund raisers' across the country,” according to its official website.
