Spousal violence?: Woman’s body found

RAWALPINDI: The body of a 28-year-old woman was found hanging from a tree in Fateh Jang on Monday. She was allegedly killed by her husband, said a police official. According to the police, on Monday morning, Zainab Bibi, a resident of Darnal village, some 25 kilometres from Fateh Jang city, was allegedly thrashed by her husband Imran Khan after he saw her talking to another man. Later, she left home to go to her parents’ house, but never reached there. Police suspect that she was killed by her husband on the way. On the complaint of her father, the police registered a murder case against her husband.
