HYDERABAD: Sindh United Party (SUP) chief Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah said that his party will neither become part of any movement to topple the federal government nor will stand in support of the government. Addressing a gathering on Friday night, the former speaker of the Sindh Assembly said that he had informed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his election campaign in Sindh that without recognising the rights of the provinces, democracy will not be strengthened. He also advised the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf to withdraw its call for a sit-in in Islamabad if the government accepted their demands.
