Act Of Revenge?: Man shot dead in passenger van attack

HANGU: A man was shot dead while another person was injured when men opened fire at a passenger van near Sor Pul in Doaba, Hangu Saturday morning. Doaba SHO Khawanullah said the van was en route to Hangu from Sadda, Kurram Agency when armed men lying in wait fired at the vehicle, killing one and injuring another. He added the assailants managed to flee. The deceased was identified as Nasir, a resident of Torawari in Doaba, while the injured was his guest identified as Abdullah, a resident of Lakki Marwat. The SHO said they have registered an FIR against Daulat Khan on the complaint of the deceased’s family. He added they have also learnt of an old enmity between the victim and the accused.
