GUJRANWALA: A Pakistan Express train bound for Karachi on Friday remained stationed for over three hours at Wazirabad railway station due to a technical failure. Several passengers protested against the government and besieged the control room and the office of the station master. A stampede ensued after they pelted the train with stones. The situation was controlled by a police team. Railway officials said that the delay was caused by a faulty locomotive. They said that the train would depart for Karachi as soon as a substitute engine reached Wazirabad.
