Commonwealth Games: Pakistani boxer reaches final of 52kg flyweight competition
Waseem will now face Australia’s Andrew Moloney in the final on Saturday.

All three judges favored Waseem by awarding him 30 points, over Omer’s 27 in three rounds.
The 26-year-old will now face Australia’s 23-year-old Andrew Moloney at Men’s 52 kg flyweight finals on Saturday.
Even if Waseem loses, the young boxer would be awarded a silver medal, adding to the meager tally of medals for Pakistan.
In the games so far, Pakistan has won three medals; two silvers and one bronze medal.
