Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has directed the management of the bureau of supply to come up with an effective market mechanism to regulate and control prices of edible items.
He also directed Sindh Advocate-General to approach the judiciary and get magisterial powers to revenue officers restored so that market-related cases can be heard on time. Lauding the efforts of the commissioner, Shah directed all the commissioners, deputy commissioners and other revenue officers to monitor the markets of their respective areas and curb illegal profiteering.
