Senior journalist Kamran Khan resigns from Geo

He will be joining the upcoming channel Bol.

KARACHI: Senior journalist and television anchor Kamran Khan has resigned from GeoTV.

He announced his decision to resign from GeoTV during his show on Thursday night.

His Geo TV colleague Maria Memon, confirmed the news.



Kamran Khan, who has been associated with the Jang Group and GeoTV for over 30 years, resigned from the network on Thursday.

Murtaza Ali Shah, a reporter for Geo News in London, also tweeted that the senior journalist has resigned, hinting that he may join a rival television network.



Shah, quoted Khan as saying that he is proud of having work for the group for 32 years.

I am fully convinced that GEO is anti Pakistan and all pro-pakistan people should jump from the sinking ship.
