LAHORE: Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front Chairman Malik Tahir Javed discussed the role of women entrepreneurs in the economy while speaking to a delegation. The delegation was led by former Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry executive committee member Nabila Intisar. Javed said that government departments concerned should impart training to women, as a number of them were unable to make a mark in the international market despite having the skills. He said that women constitute more than half of our population but their creative skills are unutilised, therefore, there is a dire need to encourage them to join the mainstream economy. He said that the products prepared by women entrepreneurs for export should be allowed concession in taxes.
