Road accident: Two cops among three injured

ISLAMABAD:

Two police constables and a bystander were injured in a road accident in Sector G-7/3, said a press release on Wednesday.

ASI Ghulam Mustafa lodged a report with the Aabpara police station that Constable Muhammad Siddique and Allahbaksh were on duty at a checkpoint when a speeding car (STK-177), driven by Shally Masih, knocked them and a bystander.

As result, they suffered injuries. Meanwhile, a man was booked for allegedly stealing foreign currency from his employer’s house in Sector G-6/4. Major (Retd) Nauman Khan said his cook stole US$2,500 from his house. The police registered separate cases.
