Border violation: Heavy Indian shelling, firing in Sialkot sector injures three

Intense firing from Indian side injured three people, said Rescue 1122.

SIALKOT: The Indian Border Forces carried out intense mortar shelling and firing in the Sialkot sector along the international border early on Sunday morning, Express News reported.

According to details, Indian army resorted to heavy firing in the Akhnoor sector in Sialkot.

“As a result of the firing three people were injured including a woman,” said Rescue 1122.

The injured were shifted from their native Pamal village to Allama Iqbal civil hospital for treatment.

Pakistani border forces, the Chenab Rangers, retaliated to the attacks in kind.

Sunday's border violations follow similar Indian violations from earlier in the week which had left at least two Pakistani civilians had been were injured in those cross-border violations.

@Stranger: The civilian govt. in Pakistan controls neither India centric policy nor army. . So when there is something deliberate how it will stop? Vested interest in the Pakistani army/ ISI does have the purpose to keep the LOC disturbed to drum beat and make propangada to malign the Indian side and stop normalization of relation either by talk and/or trade. Indian side has no purpose and nothing to gain from firing except retaliation and stop infiltration of militants from Pakistan.

Open the indian papers and see , they will say firing by Pak has damaged this or that . Why don't the two sides sit and TALK like adults .
