KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has demanded an immediate Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) meeting to speak against the atrocities of Israel on Palestinians. JI Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman made the demand during a rally at Jamia Masjid Farooq-e-Azam in Nazimabad against the Gaza attack. Participants of the rally, which included other leaders of the party, raised placards and banners inscribing slogans against the Israel aggression in Palestine. During his speech, the JI leader said that Israel has violated all norms of humanity in Palestine by killing innocent Palestinians including women, children and elderly men. He regretted that the rulers of the Islamic countries had remained silent spectators during the bombings. Ameerul Azeem also spoke during the rally, saying that the recent attacks in Palestine were an open proof of the irresponsible attitude of the Muslim rulers and United Nations.
