Law Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said on Friday Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Tahirul Qadri should stop making irresponsible statements.
He said in a statement Qadri should realise that people were aware of his past. “He should not waste time making such statements,” the minister said.He said people did not believe the accusations made by Qadri. Khan said the Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader and some political parties were conspiring against the government.
The minister slammed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Mehmoodur Rasheed for his statement that the government had failed to overcome energy crisis. “Instead of judging the federal government, the PTI should review its performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” Khan said.
“What contributions has the PTI made to the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? The party has done nothing but instigated people to take to streets.”
The minister said the Punjab government had allocated Rs5 billion for the provision of items of daily use on subsidised rates during Ramazan. Whereas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said, the prices had gone up.
