Coach-Car collision: Five killed, 13 injured on road

ATTOCK: Five people including four members of a family were killed and 13 others seriously injured after a collision between a coach and car on the Kohat–Rawalpindi road on Monday, the police said. The deceased — Azmat Ali, Omer Hayat, Taj Bibi, Tahir Gul and Muhammad Imran — were all residents of Karak District in Khyber-Pakhtunkwa. The local police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and the injured to the tehsil headquarters hospitals in Jand and Fateh Jang. According to the police, the speeding coach rammed into the car before hitting a wall. Accidents have become routine on the Kohat Pindi Road.
