KARACHI: Acting Sindh IG Ghulam Hyder Jamali has directed to employ separate standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the security of shopping centres, bazaars and mosques, eidgahs, imambargahs and other places of worship. The role of the rapid response force, quick response force, police commandos, special branch and police stations should be made further effective. He said this while visiting the Command and Control Centre on Saturday. Well-trained staff should be made responsible to ensure the live monitoring of the city so that immediate steps could be taken in case of any trouble. Jamali said that it would be the responsibility of the monitoring staff to immediately inform the relevant police station if they see any suspicious activity through their security cameras.
