KARACHI: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Koukab Noorani Okarvi counted the blessings of prayer through which man can communicate with Almighty Allah. “It is also through prayer and supplication that a person can get close to the Creator,” Maulana Koukab Noorani told Express News on Friday. His remarks came during a discussion on the topic ‘Why prayers are not heard’. He went on to say that people who commit wrongdoings, abuse their fellow brothers, earn money through illegal ways, disobey their parents and perform other sinful acts, such people face difficulties in getting their prayers answered. “A man should never lose hope, and always keep faith that Allah is listening to all his prayers,” said Noorani.
