Performance review: ‘Ensure timely billing’
FESCO CEO Khurshid Alam says accurate and timely delivery of electricity bills should be ensured by the FESCO staff.

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Khurshid Alam on Thursday said accurate and timely delivery of electricity bills should be ensured by the FESCO staff. He was talking to FESCO staff during a visit to Satiana Road, Madina Town and People’s Colony to review the performance of meter reading teams. He said meter reading staff should ensure there were no problems caused through overbilling. He said negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. He said on the directives of the Ministry of Water and Power, follow-up meter reading was being undertaken after regular meter reading so incorrect readings and irregularities could be identified. He said meter-reading staff was essential for generating revenue for the FESCO. He said nobody involved in overbilling through bogus readings would be spared.
