Near Nashpa Plant: OGDC to set up dispensary
ISLAMABAD:
Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) as part of its corporate social responsibility programme will construct a dispensary to facilitate the locals living around the Nashpa plant. According to an official, the process is under way to acquire land for the facility, which will cost Rs5 million. Similarly, the company has planned to construct two rooms of the Government Primary School Alwargi Banda at a cost of Rs1.12 million, says the official. It constructed rooms and toilets at a cost of Rs1 million in Madressa Dare Argam near Nashpa on the demand of a member of the National Assembly from the area in 2009-10. The company also spent Rs3.55 million on water supply schemes including construction of four water storage tanks at Faqiri Banda village and the installation of 25 water pressure pumps at Nashpa.
