RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Session judge Irfan Saeed on Monday ordered the local police to recover a four-year-old boy from his father and present him before court on Tuesday (today). The order was given after a petitioner filed a child custody case in court. The petitioner told the court her ex-husband, Amir Shahzad, along with his friends broke into her house and forcibly took away the boy. She said they also beat her up when she resisted. Advocate Masood Shah told the court that Shahzad had divorced the petitioner and under the law, the child should be in the mother’s custody.
