Held hostage: Anti-Terrorism Force official kidnapped

DI KHAN: An Anti-Terrorism Force official was kidnapped by four unidentified men in Kulachi tehsil of DI Khan district on Monday. A Kulachi police official said Mahsud had gone for some work on a motorcycle with his nephew when four men dressed in security forces’ uniform intercepted them near KotWalidad and took them hostage on gunpoint. On their way to an undisclosed location, the armed men let the nephew go who then informed the police about the kidnapping. The police then reached the area and started a search operation, but the kidnapers had escaped before the police arrived. A case was registered with the Kulachi police against the unidentified men and a search is still under way, said the police official. No arrests were made till the filing of this report.
