A woman was injured in Sarkal M Nayer village on Saturday after a gas cylinder exploded while she was using it to cook sehri for her family.
Nusrat Bibi woke up at sehri time and when she lighted the gas burner, it exploded and the whole kitchen caught fire, resulting in multiple burn injuries for Nusrat. She was immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital Chakwal, where she is still admitted in critical condition. Separately, a house was burgled in Ransial village in the Kallar Kahar area. The thieves managed to escape with Rs100,000 and gold ornaments from the house of Ahmed Khan.
