HYDERABAD: Jamatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed has underscored the need for promoting peace and harmony across all sectarian, linguistic, provincial and cultural divisions to fail conspiracies against Pakistan. “The Muhajideen in Afghanistan responded to the war imposed on them through bullet in return for bullet. But in Pakistan a different strategy is required to cope with an indirect but more destructive subversion sponsored by the US and India”. Saeed, who carries a $10 million bounty announced by the US for his capture, said this while addressing a gathering of his followers at Dial Das club on Friday. He maintained that the US wants to punish Pakistan for its defeat in Afghanistan. “The unrest, violence and killings that we see in Karachi, Balochistan and other parts of the country are all manifestations of that revenge.”

The US goal in Afghanistan was to get rid of Osama and unseat the Taliban from power. They did both. Their only failure is not getting the 10-million dollar man. Until now that is.
