CM’s pledge: Businessmen get assurance

KARACHI:

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah assured industrialists, investors and the business community that security, incentives and infrastructure facilities will be provided in the government’s bid to promote development.

He was addressing industrialists at the Site office in Karachi, after inaugurating two reconstructed concrete roads made from the financial package of Rs270 million.

The chief minister said the Sindh government is focusing on facilitating and providing a cohesive atmosphere to the business communities.

“Karachi has its unique importance,” said Shah. “It is a hub of socio-economic activities. It has one of the biggest industrial sites, with maximum job opportunities that have attracted influx from the other parts of the country.”

What a turn! A few years back, when PPP was in government, our "great" leader HH Zardari asked business men in Karachi to arrange for their security themselves.. I believe his famous quote was: "Do you want to take all that wealth to your graves"..
