Deadly situation: BDU defuses bag full of explosives

Information helps police locate a mysterious bag by roadside in Badheber, cordon it off, call in the BDU.

PESHAWAR: A hand grenade, two shells, 112 detonators, receivers and a remote control used in the assembly of explosive devices were defused by the bomb disposal unit (BDU) on Thursday in Mera Mashogagar area of Badhaber, Peshawar. A police official said they had been informed about a mysterious bag by a roadside in the area. Police rushed to the site and cordoned it off before calling in the BDU. Upon inspection, BDU officials found the explosive devices in the bag and defused all of them on the spot.
