Did you know?: Deepika voted sexiest woman in the world

I think something like this is really the result of the work that I do, says Deepika.

Are we surprised? Not at all. Actor Deepika Padukone, who has won over hearts everywhere with her dimpled smile and statuesque figure, has been voted the sexiest woman in the world in a poll conducted by the FHM magazine.

She will feature in the new edition of the magazine and on Wednesday she unveiled the edition featuring her and the other girls in the top 100 list of sexiest women.

However, Deepika believes that her physical appearance has got nothing to do with this poll and it is only her work that led her to this. “I think something like this is really the result of the work that I do. I don’t think it has anything to do with me physically. I think that brand endorsements are also the result of the films that you do,” she said.

“I have been very fortunate that the roles I have done in the last two to three years have been very different from each other. So I guess this and the endorsements are a result of that and, of course, the success of that and the relatable characters,” she added.

Deepika was last seen in the Tamil film Kochadaiiyaan. Her look in her upcoming film Finding Fanny is also out. The film has been directed by Homi Adajania and stars Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia.

@Jehangir Jawiad: Why is it imp for women? If you have accepted you being a failure then why are you crying. Who are you to decide what others should do with their life? Why do you use Internet created by enlighted people? What is your contribution to this world apart from mere consumer?

Now the dirty and so called enlighten and modern people trying to make society as nude as possible in the name so called 'Basic Human Rights' and they are very much successful.
