HYDERABAD: The Sindh University handed over plot ownership documents to 865 teachers, officers and staff at a ceremony in Jamshoro on Wednesday. As many as 286 professors and officers of BPS-16 to BPS-22 received 500-square-yard plots and 164 staff members between BPS-9 to BPS-15 received 300-square-yard plots. The lower staff from BPS-1 to BPS-8 were given 415 plots of 150 square yards. The vice-chancellor, Dr Prof Abida Tahirani, distributed the ownership documents. The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Cooperative Housing Society is spread across 300 acres of land in Jamshoro. It is the third residential colony for the Sindh University’s staff in Jamshoro.
