Abducted: Two kidnapped at gunpoint

DI KHAN: Six people disguised as security personnel kidnapped two men at gunpoint on DI Khan-Bannu Road and also took away their car, the victims’ families said on Tuesday. Two employees of Gomal University (GU), identified as Mudassir, son of GU Deputy Registrar Aslam Khan Gandapur, and Saqib were reportedly travelling in a car near Chanda village around 10pm on Monday when six armed men intercepted their vehicle and whisked them away. Families of the kidnapped men said they lost contact with them after 11pm. Yarak police, however, said no complaint has been filed as yet.
