Facilitation: Ramazan timings for govt offices

LAHORE: The Punjab government has issued new office timings for all public offices in the province. A notification issued on Monday said that government offices, including the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and head offices of all departments, would open from 8am to 2pm, five days a week. The office timing for Fridays is 8am to 1pm, the notification said. Field offices across the province will remain open for six days a week from 8am to 1pm on weekdays. The field offices will close at 12pm on Fridays. Timings have been changed to facilitate the staff in Ramazan, according to the official notification.
