Ready for challenge: Pakistan Army a battle hardened force

COAS advised all troops to remain focused on their professional obligations.

RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Saturday reiterated that Pakistan Army was a battle hardened force, fully prepared to fight across the entire spectrum of threat. Talking to officers and soldiers during his visit to Siachen Glacier where he spent time with troops at the highest battle ground of the world, he said, “We will not hesitate from rendering any sacrifice for the defence of the motherland.” The COAS advised all troops to remain focused on their professional obligations and training for an effective response to any emerging challenge. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Raheel Sharif laid a wreath at the Shuhada Monument at Gayari and paid tribute to all those valiant officers and soldiers, who laid their lives in defence of the motherland.
